I went with math, science and philosophy. Idkwhy. Buts ok this site is great for boredom. Dits have you checked out the Thoughts on the Afterlife discussion??? Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: Dragon in the Shadows on January 05, 2012, 11:37:48 am Central Standard Time Dits have you checked out the Thoughts on the Afterlife discussion??? There are two things I don't speculate on; God and what happens after you die. The simple truth is death is the ultimate form of change and as such you'll never know what it will bring until it has occured. Thus any speculation is a waste of time and effort. Ofcourse science does tell us that energy cannot be either created or destroyed so it is possible for life to continue after death. The electrical energy from one's mind (or soul if you will) could move on to some alternate plane of existance, a metaphorical heaven, or it could blend into the universe, or it could be dispersed in to the environment around the body at the moment of death. That's as far as I'll talk about the subject. Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: PkMn Trainer on January 05, 2012, 06:58:16 pm Central Standard Time Novels, philosoraptors and mythology.

When are you gonna tell us the answers? Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: Dragon in the Shadows on January 07, 2012, 04:28:37 am Central Standard Time I honestly thought it would take longer for everyone to vote. Any who here's what's on my Kindle:
Novels (20) Classic Literature (22) Mathmatics and Statistics (5) Science and Engineering (21) Philosophy (19) Mythology (15) Romance Novels (0) Other [should have made this an option] (6) That's 108 books. Kinda surprized myself at the low number of Math books, might have to download more...But they are full text books... Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: ArkticDark on January 07, 2012, 06:31:57 am Central Standard Time buck2.gifand when are you going to read a math book over anyother book you have???
And why would you need full text books? Very strange mr. Are you raising and training an army of mutated chimps? It is a good way to esponge negative energy from your body tho. You have to be sure not to shoot your girl full of negative energy tho, that is why sex is a bad idea when you are sick cause of the negativity you are harboring. Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: XxReptarxX on January 31, 2012, 01:11:26 pm Central Standard Time ^^ Disagree
The only thing about having sex when you're sick is it has to be doggie style because you want the least amount of risk of getting your lover sick. So missionary is outta the question. ;) I agree with pron for educational purposes, but I believe it's something that should be watched together, never when the other person isn't there. You have to be sure not to shoot your girl full of negative energy tho, that is why sex is a bad idea when you are sick cause of the negativity you are harboring. Expunge stress, yes. But there are plenty of other ways to relax. I don't buy that negative energy sh*t though. Sex can be a stress reliever just like jetting awff. If you're sick... well, avoid kissing or whatever the hell you do e_e''' with your mouth. Or tongue. Besides the emotions it is like a physical "workout" (from a lack of better words at the moment). Scientifically (or the only logical) way of looking at it, you can't pass on negative energy from sex. Perhaps you won't be as into it and that may upset your partner(s) (again I'm just going to leave this open ended), but there is no true energy that plays a role here. Tantric yoga for one. Read! Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: PkMn Trainer on January 31, 2012, 08:35:11 pm Central Standard Time I see the scientific backing as the true explanation for the energy-related matters. You are reaching greater relaxed stages mentally.
Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: ArkticDark on January 31, 2012, 09:05:54 pm Central Standard Time so... what are you sayin?
Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: PkMn Trainer on January 31, 2012, 09:33:33 pm Central Standard Time The "energy" is how you feel mentally and physically. I don't believe in it as a separate force. It's in the mind. If the mind is at ease, then so will the body (and vice-versa).
Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: ArkticDark on January 31, 2012, 09:51:34 pm Central Standard Time ::)no dude. Just no. Don't you know energy makes up everything and all is energy so how do you not believe in it?
You seem to be influenced in a closed minded way when it comes to this stuff. Maybe the Catholic Church's fault? Idk. Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: PkMn Trainer on January 31, 2012, 10:42:32 pm Central Standard Time I can imagine focusing of energy to be physical to strengthen a part of the body but not with any spiritual elements. As far as I know, life is built from particles and physical energy. Physical energy doesn't carry any spiritual element.
-_-''' I'm not Catholic but... Before I became a Christian, I looked at everything scientifically. Everything was either physical or mental. The only spiritual element that I recognize now is a connection with God, since He is the only intangible subject I find reason to believe in. That being said, my view on the elements of the world have largely remained the same. Every other state is simply a state of mind to me. But, I get the feel of what you're saying because it revolves around peace. Your underlying message is true. I should be more open to ideas and less uncompromising at my stage. I can't say I will think the same but I will take in the themes. How can y'all argue this? The chinese have been proving the existence of chi for 4000 years. How can y'all argue this? Just because the people in charge in the western world are ignorant and narrow minded and the Scientific Academy is the same way in opening up to a different ways of thinking. Then where are the results? Where are the medical journals and research papers backed independantly? Where are the experiments and double blind tests? The chinese haven't do that because it is simply easier to say we've been doing it for thousands of years and sticking needles into your skin will change this energy, which isn't electrical in nature, from negative to positive. And that is something you have to understand, chi is not the electrical charge present in your body which can be measured. It's something different which no one had definitively proven. Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: PkMn Trainer on February 04, 2012, 03:47:06 pm Central Standard Time That's right Arktic, you didn't show me any evidence.
And that is something you have to understand, chi is not the electrical charge present in your body which can be measured. It's something different which no one had definitively proven. This is the main one I was trying to express. Any chi, chakra, etc. are really descriptions of what is mental. Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: ArkticDark on February 05, 2012, 01:47:04 pm Central Standard Time :-\but its the Doc sticking you and causing a change.
yea mental is needed when focusing chi because your brain controls all bodily tasks. chi is an actual extension not just an idea but visualising is important. and yes if all matter has an electron flow then chi also has an electron flow. just like the aura. Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: PkMn Trainer on February 05, 2012, 02:27:06 pm Central Standard Time and yes if all matter has an electron flow then chi also has an electron flow. just like the aura. Chi is not physical so it cannot have its own electron flow. It's practically all mental. Like I said, what it really is is a part of a state of mind. Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: ArkticDark on February 05, 2012, 05:02:46 pm Central Standard Time as long as there are particles and if you can feel it then it has particles.
You mean to tell me you are just going disregard a belief more than 2/3s of the world has implemented into their lives for thousands of years? The only reason scientist don't care about Chi is because it takes years and so much effort to craft and use. Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: Dragon in the Shadows on February 05, 2012, 05:08:13 pm Central Standard Time Actually it's closer to a third. And the reason why scientists don't care about chi is because it can't be studied.
Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: ArkticDark on February 05, 2012, 06:04:36 pm Central Standard Time just like black holes can't be studied but you will firmly believe what some scientist theorized and never witnessed 1st hand.
People who do yoga and kung fu have experienced chi and have for thousands of years. Deepak Chopra is a medical doctor who knows alot about quantum and meta physics and he writes about chi and prana all the time. Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: Dragon in the Shadows on February 05, 2012, 06:11:11 pm Central Standard Time just like black holes can't be studied but you will firmly believe what some scientist theorized and never witnessed 1st hand. Actually they have, just not up close. They have even been photographed. We know black holes exist. Deepak Chopra is a medical doctor who knows alot about quantum and meta physics and he writes about chi and prana all the time. But does he claim that he can put out candles with his mind? Does he use this power to treat terminally ill patients? Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: ArkticDark on February 05, 2012, 06:18:02 pm Central Standard Time its not just mental but physical and spiritual as well. You aren't mentally blowing out a candle you have to physically feel the energy and chanel it.
You have to meditate and build up amounts of chi before you can us it so it is very limited to your body, mind and spirit. It is very human and there is no supernatural magic to it it is just a part of humanity that take work and dedication to make a part of your life and it makes your life better. Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: Dragon in the Shadows on February 05, 2012, 06:23:21 pm Central Standard Time Lets try a bigger experiment. I'll light a candle and you blow it out with your chi. We can use skype for this purpose. Since you are not even anywhere near the candle it will prove only your chi is effecting the candle.
Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: ArkticDark on February 05, 2012, 06:26:31 pm Central Standard Time why must you mock me like that. Are you an offical hater?
Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: Dragon in the Shadows on February 05, 2012, 06:33:58 pm Central Standard Time I am merely asking you to think your experiment through. Have you even tried other ways of doing the experiment? Putting out a candle behind a barrier to prevent air from effecting it in any way? Putting out a candle in a different room? Have you done it without moving at all? And how many other people have done this only using chi? The whole point of an experiment, after all, is that it can be performed by others with the same matterial, repeatively and reliably, without in depth knowledge.
Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: ArkticDark on February 05, 2012, 07:05:41 pm Central Standard Time no you have to have deep knowledge and practice it like honing a skill. And I cannot make my chi go threw a wall i'm not magic it is an extension of my body and my body don't phase through walls or stretch across rooms so why are you asking such ridic sh!t.
Those variables don't have anything to do with testing the validity of chi. And I would have to train people to use their chi and the two people I have trained aren't as good at using as I am. You have to be fully comitted to training your chi because at base level it won't be effective. Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: Dragon in the Shadows on February 05, 2012, 07:09:42 pm Central Standard Time Those variables don't have anything to do with testing the validity of chi. What I am saying is: Eliminate The Varibles Because They Effect The Results Of The Experiment Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: PkMn Trainer on February 05, 2012, 07:24:14 pm Central Standard Time Like I said on fb, what this chi really is is deep concentration that allows for precise control of your body. The defined movement you make is able to snuff out the candle.
If chi is spiritual, then you could snuff out a candle that is behind a sheet of paper. A thin wall couldn't possibly keep you from expunging the flame. But because it does, it shows that blowing out the candle is simply a focused technique. A focused physical technique. You are actually blowing it out with air, not with energy. I want to see what happens if you try the same technique on an average person. He/She may only feel some wind. Edit: Holy crap Arktic you needed Dragon to point that out for you?! Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: ArkticDark on February 05, 2012, 07:27:32 pm Central Standard Time ok then help me with this for both me and you.
You set up the test for me and you control the variables and I will set it up here and film it. You could also film it as well and try to do it as you need more people involved so you can be in and film it. So let me know what you want me to do and don't make it impossible because i am not psychic and cannot reach my chi accross rooms or further than 3 to 6 inches from my palm because my extension from palm isn't that powerful and I don't want to utilize the wind. Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: Dragon in the Shadows on February 05, 2012, 07:33:28 pm Central Standard Time Like I said on fb, what this chi really is is deep concentration that allows for precise control of your body. And if you can't do it without a physical movement then it was the physical movement that caused the reaction, not your chi. And unless you prove otherwise, by removing that varible, your experiment is faulty and your hypothosis is invalid. Quoted the wrong person. :P Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: ArkticDark on February 05, 2012, 07:38:08 pm Central Standard Time Tainer posted at the same time i was.
Trainer can you send particles throw a solid object??? The chi is a tangible force that you focus mentally but you physically move it through your limbs. It probably won't go through paper unless i touch the paper. Just because someone can utilize chi to an extent doesn't mean they can use psychic abilities to send energy through solid matter like paper. Ai don't know if i'm strong enough. And it doesn't prove that it was wind or not because you introduce paper. Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: ArkticDark on February 05, 2012, 07:41:32 pm Central Standard Time what if i keep my hand still?
I can show you a video where i do the motion and it doesn't put the flame out but when i start to add chi it does put the flame out. Or i could just show you the same motion over and over not putting the flame because it wasn't the wind at all and the wind will always be there anyway. Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: Dragon in the Shadows on February 05, 2012, 07:47:19 pm Central Standard Time Trainer can you send particles throw a solid object??? Make a plastic tube that is open to one side, when you document the experiment that side will face the camera. Attach another piece of plastic to the the top and make sure all the seems are completely sealed. The air to sustain the flame will enter the back, but movement from your side will not effect the results. Actually I'm surprized you didn't come to that conclusion yourself before you posted the video. Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: PkMn Trainer on February 05, 2012, 08:26:07 pm Central Standard Time Chi is not tangible. Therefore it has no electron flow. It is actually strong control over your body, and this focus is called chi. And energy can pass through solid objects. A thin sheet of paper should be no challenge for your chi. The paper is there to block any wind of course.
Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: Dragon in the Shadows on February 05, 2012, 08:32:36 pm Central Standard Time Hence my proposed revisions to the experiment.
Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: PkMn Trainer on February 05, 2012, 09:11:37 pm Central Standard Time Head was still hurting a bit so I didn't bother to read. :-\ Got it now. I was thinking about covering the side that faces his hand, plus the top of the candle to make sure air doesn't come in from there either.
Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: ArkticDark on February 05, 2012, 11:38:45 pm Central Standard Time Trainer how can you just invent your own definition of chi and how it works? You don't even believe in it as its actual form. Your description of chi is completely fabricated. You obviously don't know anything at all about actual chi Trainer.
And no you cannot send your particles through a sheet of paper. Can you phase your finger tip through a sheet of paper? NO! Wind is made of particles so why wouldn't the wind go through the paper to put the flame out??? And how do you figure I put the candle out with wind? My hand didn't move very far. It was like a 2 inch adjustment forward from its rested position and it was moving too slow to create such a draft. Ok Dits draw it out or something cause the visual isn't coming through. Like I have plastic tubes laying around. Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: PkMn Trainer on February 06, 2012, 02:38:26 am Central Standard Time The only energy your body can transmit is body heat. Anything with an electron flow has to have a physical form. Chi meets neither points.
There are particles that can pass through solids. Light shines through paper. The paper idea was to keep the wind from getting to the flame. The airflow took out the flame. I'm pretty sure this is what Dragon is suggesting. Imagine this: There is a glass cup placed upside down on a table. It is cut in half, and one half is removed. However, the other half still stands (like it is superglued). The candle is then placed within this half of the glass, and lit. The glass acts as a barrier to block wind from the front or the top. Since the back is open, there is still air from the room to feed the flame. Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: Dragon in the Shadows on February 06, 2012, 05:09:07 am Central Standard Time Yup, that is what I'm suggesting. As for Arktic's persistant claim that particles can't move through matter: Neutrinos. Neutrinos can pass through matter and rarely effect said matter. And yes, they have been studied and are well documented.
Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: ArkticDark on February 06, 2012, 03:43:12 pm Central Standard Time It doesn't matter you cannot put flames out with neutrinos ok geeze.

You can never really tell...
You would never really want to look either. e _e''' Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: BigStinkinApe on February 14, 2012, 09:29:00 pm Central Standard Time lets not talk of flat fat chicks.....
Girl has to have a figure, but we don't want a bakery, (curves, not rolls). Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: PkMn Trainer on February 14, 2012, 09:35:38 pm Central Standard Time Clever. :D
Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: Fever on February 15, 2012, 01:42:33 am Central Standard Time Don't want a surf board with huge **** either. Women with implants look like that. ::)
But you gotta have that perfect Ass:**** ratio. That smooth 1:1 ratio. ;) Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: ArkticDark on February 15, 2012, 06:11:50 am Central Standard Time yes Fever I agree. That is why I hate fake titts too because most chicks who get them don't need them and become disproportionate.
Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: Fever on February 15, 2012, 06:20:19 am Central Standard Time Yeah I agree with Kayla too.
Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: Dragon in the Shadows on February 15, 2012, 06:20:59 am Central Standard Time Yes, but that 1:1 ratio doesn't always hold true. I've seen some girls who were just censored.gif hot with big tits and a small ass and vice versa. It all depends on the girl.
Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: ArkticDark on February 15, 2012, 07:34:31 am Central Standard Time yes but with no ass it is prefered that boobs are not too big.
Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: BigStinkinApe on February 15, 2012, 09:49:25 am Central Standard Time ass, while nice needs to be proportionate.
Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: ArkticDark on February 15, 2012, 03:42:02 pm Central Standard Time *massacre*can you see these smilies BSA???
Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: XxReptarxX on February 15, 2012, 06:00:08 pm Central Standard Time Women with no figure, regardless of how big her boobs are is just nasty. I definitely think a girl needs an ass. Without that, it just looks weird. For some reason, the women in my family are lucky. Most of us have a ghetto booty. 'Tis nice.
Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: Dragon in the Shadows on February 15, 2012, 06:16:42 pm Central Standard Time I think Marvel pretty much defined the female form, at least on paper, with Psylocke.

Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: ArkticDark on February 15, 2012, 07:23:04 pm Central Standard Time No, no... Its all good. I like a me some Japanese chicks. Good job Dragon.
Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: PkMn Trainer on February 15, 2012, 10:28:08 pm Central Standard Time I saw a super thin chick with big implants at Hometown Buffet.
I thought Nico Robin came to life. Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: BigStinkinApe on February 16, 2012, 06:00:30 pm Central Standard Time even nico does not look so bad considering the drawing style.
psylocke is pretty close, but still a tad "off" somehow. yes I can see those arktic. Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: PkMn Trainer on February 16, 2012, 06:09:30 pm Central Standard Time even nico does not look so bad considering the drawing style. But having that kind of figure in real life?! :o It just does not work... Title: Re: Dragon's Kindle Post by: BigStinkinApe on February 16, 2012, 06:27:22 pm Central Standard Time actually inco would be something of a 6'2"
140 ish LBS 30's willowy build woman with a B-C cup...so she's hardly disproportionate. Nami would be like a 5'8" ish 20 something(at the oldest) small build with a B- a C (though less of a bust than nico) as well. The drawing style makes it look so much worse then it is really.
