Title: Howdy from Tasmania
Post by: infinity_zero on October 12, 2013, 10:03:00 am Central Daylight Time
Hey, how's it all going?
I saw a link on the PoJo forums and being an avid Dark World fan, I thought I'd join up and have a looksee.
My name's David, I'm from Tasmania Australia, and I typically play Yu-Gi-Oh with my younger brother (who's more of a Steelswarm fan).

Welcome to DWS.  If you are into Pokémon we have a X/Y play through event that just started.  Yeah, shameless promoting.   ;D

I am rather keen on Pokemon, although I've not bought X/Y yet, but I'm definitely keen to buy it soon.

There aren't many Yu-Gi-Oh players where I am, and most of them have social skills that are (put nicely) sub-par. So I usually only get to play against my brother when I'm around at my parents house.

I'm currently running 2 decks that I'm reasonably happy with, although they definitely need some tweaking. (they are a Dark World deck, and a Spell Counter deck). My brother sticks to his Zombies and Steelswarm.

Not sure if answering that 40 question thingo is customary, and I'm too lazy to do it, so if anyone wants to know more about me, feel free to ask.

It is just there to make it easier to get to know new members. But you don't have to do it.

Trust me, you'll enjoy it.  I got both versions.  3 Badges in Y, 4 in X.

Got you beat.  18 decks.   :P

Yup.  Even if you make a bio including life stories we hit you with a million questions.  Speaking of which; an administrative assistant orders cellular phones for people in her department.  The brand A phones cost $89.95 and the brand B phones $34.95.  If she ordered 3 times as many brand B phones as brand A phones at a total cost of $584.40, how many of each did she order?

I only actually just saw Dragon in the Shadow's post, ha. I bought X, thoroughly enjoyed it, I'll play through again sometime soon.

I have more decks than 2, between me and my brother we'd have close to 20, but of ones that we actually use to play against people other than each other, I'm only content with 2 at the moment.

Also, 3 of brand A, 9 of brand B, took me about 20 seconds. ;)

Anyway, I'm bored at the moment (hence the many posts around the forum) so I may as well do that 40 questiony thingo.
