Yup.  Another Pendulum deck.  Since it is a new arch-type I'll go briefly into their Pendulum effects and some of the support cards.  They do also have monster effects, but so far I've only had use for Rex's double attack and hand destruction, Pteran's search and Plesios' ATK/DEF modulation.  Anywho, just like Igknights, Dinomists have only two scales to work with.  Unlike Igknights they have two shared effects, meaning the scale 3s have one effect and the scales 6s have a different effect.  The scale 3s can prevent destruction by battle or card effect by destroying themselves instead.  Scale 6s can negate targeting effects again by destroying themselves.

Dinomist Charge is a beast.  First it allows you to add one Dinomist monster to your hand, Rex is my favorite target.  Then once per turn when a Pendulum monster(s) is sent to the Extra deck you can add 1 to your hand.  Basically this allows you to negate just about everything and recycles them to your hand to reset the scales and restart the process.  The downside is you can only activate one per turn.  Combine two of these with Wavering Eyes and you plus like f**k.  Like Igknights they have their own field spell which mimics their Pendulum effect.  Dinomic Powerload makes it so your opponent cannot activate cards or effects when a Dinomist battles.  Finally Dinomist Rush allows you to summon a Dinomist from your deck.  It is unaffected by other cards and destroyed during the End Phase  Which is fine.  Again it can only be activated once per turn.

No extra deck.  I'm not sure if I'll make one for it or if I'll just tweak my Igknight extra deck so it can be used for both with a few substitutions since they both can spam level 4s and 5s.  So far it has been strong on it's own.  The Spiritual Art card is to aid with messing with my opponent's hand.  Thinking about boosting it to two.  Maybe dropping a MST.  The meta is highly anti-Pendulum and thus anti-backrow.  Could be good for baiting.

Now, if anyone is interested in Igknights, Dinomists and Raidraptors, please comment and I'll get started on writing up some article.  These strategies are very interesting and I've only scratched the surface on their mechanics.

Okay, right off the bat I'm going to admit that I have not invested much in this deck.  I understand that in most situations Xianke is better than Xaingsheng (although I prefer Xaingsheng's pendulum effect), but it is out of my price range.  The Extra deck needs work obviously.  I have no Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragons and some of the more commonly used Xyzs for this deck are currently in use.

It's a fun deck even though I haven't spent a lot on it.

Okay, now I'll explain some of my choices.  I'm running 3 Nobledragons mostly for access to Rank 3s.  Although a fun play with it is to activate her by herself so she self destructs, then Pendulum for a full field for the usual shenanigans, then using her effect to revive and Synchro with Odd-Eyes.  Fun, but not really necessary.  Most decks I've seen utilize only 1 or 2 Dragonpulse.  I'ld rather use 3 since it is level 4, which means more Rank 4s.  Everything else is pretty standard.  I don't have Archfiend Eccentrick and I feel Luster Pendulum, while an interesting tech card, is not really necessary.  I like Xiangsheng for it's pendulum effect as stated earlier.  For those who don't know it targets a Xyz and a 1 5 or higher monster, the Xyz gains a level equal to the level 5 or higher monster.  Xianke just turns the rank into a level.  Xianke has the better stats and monster effect.  So if I get one Xiangsheng will remain at two and I might drop a Dragonpulse.

I'm currently using Fusion Substitute.  I don't have Odd-Eyes Fusion, which I don't mind at all.  Not a big fan of Odd-Eyes Fusion and as it is I rarely use Fusion Substitute.  I usually get Rune-Eyes out through Absolute's effect.  Pot of Riches is a card which I think needs to see more play in decks that use Pendulum Summoning as an Xyz platform.  I really should buy some Wavering Eyes since I now run two Pendulum decks.

My Traps really go against convention.  I have the capability to run the Breakthrough Skills, but I'ld rather use the Pendulum Backs for even more recycling.

Extra Deck has a lot of filler.  I plan on replacing 1 Utopia and Ray with Dark Rebellion and Odd-Eyes Vortex (if the price hasn't gone up)  I think I'll keep Leviair, but Giga is going to be swapped with Mechquipped Angineer.  Might also drop a Meteorburst.

My apologies for not updating sooner.  The green s***m Pokémon has been revealed as Zygarde Core.  One of 4 new Zygarde forms.  Gets better.  In the anime the man juice Pokémon follows Ash around and they refer to him as "Squishy".

Time for version 2.0. I'm enjoying this arch-type and more specifically this version.  No dead hands.  Ever.  It's not complete yet.  I'm waiting for my copies of the Pendulum structure to arrive.  Need the Summoner's arts to make it more consistant.  I'll explain some of the changes and tech later.

I've ditched the boss monsters.  I still think they have potential, but it has to be a dedicated control build.  Igknights strength lies in an aggressive field presence which in turn is better used for Xyz plays.  I've also added in Royal Magical Libraries.  Basically Royal on the first turn sets up massive plays.  Simply put you summon Royal and set scales/pop and draw till you have what you need in the Extra Deck.  Some builds I've seen incorporate Summoner Magicians to get out Royal faster and then set up a rank 4, but I decided against it.

For the Spells I've ditched the cards supporting the bosses and added in the field spell.  Guess what it does.  Pops a Igknight to add an Igknight to my hand.  I can get a free draw off a Terraforming.  I've ditched The A Forces.  Not necessary in a Xyzs build.  Also added Pot of Riches to recycle some Igknights I've used as Xyz material.  Magical Mallets help to swap out cards that I don't need at the moment, but I admit they are filler.  I hope to replace them soon if my decks arrive.

I've cut down the Bursts to two.  Three was a bit cloggy.  And then there's Tyrant's Throes.  It can be a first turn "good game".  Ditch two of my Igknights, who just wind up in the Extra Deck to be pendulum summoned on the next turn, and all effect monsters can't be summoned...At all.  Shuts down most strategies.

Finally I've added an Extra deck.  My standard end game has consisted of a Shark Fortress/Excalibur combo on turn 2 or 3, depending on whether I went first.  Some of the cards are filler until I get more rank 5s and 6s that are worth playing.

As you guys know, when I come across a new arch-type I like to play around with a pure deck and, depending on how much fun I have with it, then tweak it.  The only exception being Raidraptors which had very little to start with.  Well, I'm back to tradition with this deck.

I'm not going to go into detail about the strategy right now (haven't tested nor played against Igknights), but I will tell you the key Pendulum effect that all my Igknights share.  If I have an Igknight in both Pendulum zones I can destroy them to add any FIRE Warrior from my graveyard or deck to my hand.  With the current version this effect will be used mostly for searching out the big guns and filling up the extra deck, but the future versions will probably incorporate other options as well.

I've tossed in some interesting tech.  Storm should allow me to use Igknight Burst's secondary effect while taking out my opponent's Spells and Traps.  Pendulum Shift will allow me to adjust the pendulum scale to Pendulum Summon Champion and Lancer who normally cannot be Pendulum Summoned due to the 2 and 7 scales of Igknight pendulum monsters.

So, a pic of a new Pokémon has surfaced a while back.  And, heavy sigh, it's disappointing.  How disappointing?  It's worse than Trubish.  It literally looks like a green s***m.  I suppose it could be another tadpole Pokémon, but...Anywho I was unable to find a pic to post, but Serebii has it on their site if you want to see it.  This might be the end of Pokémon for me.  Still I can think of a few jokes.  Other than that...

Just an idea that has been kicking around in my head.  You see Raidraptors don't have many monsters yet and many Raidraptor decks incorporate Blackwings (or generic Dark monsters) to fill the void.  So I figured why not try for both.  They both are winged beasts that swarm, but towards different goals (Xyz and Synchros).  I haven't tested yet, but I suspect that I should be able to offsetting opponents in the first match.  If I open with Blackwings they won't be expecting the Raidraptor Xyzs.  Likewise if I start off with a Raidraptor play, they will expect Bora and Zephyros, but the Synchros will catch them off guard.
