Has this deck been tested at all or is it just speculation?

DAD is overrated.  Not only that, but this Deck has a stronger focus in using EARTH monsters.  To run DAD, you just need quick ways to get DARKs in the Graveyard, like Gravekeeper's Spy & Descendant in Synchro Cats.  They usually total to less than 9 DARKs, and DAD still works for them.

And yea, I still scout for DW decks here and there, I like Drill Warrior alot here is my build:

I like your deck, but how consistent can it get Drill Warrior out? and does Lily work, from test of this deck you can sometimes leave yourself open a round or to in order to get the drill warrior running.

Your Deck suffers from a problem that I saw in ShuroiKami's build: lack of Lv:3 Tuners to take advantage of Goldd & Sillva.

I don't gain much from creating synchroes from -1'ing. Simply busting out a silva/gold and pushing while destroying his stuff with kahhki, makes for much more deck space.

DW's are weak, but in Drill Warrior variant you can throw one out each turn, so you can pressure your opponent by gaining +1 each and every turn, I simply got tirred out throwing Thought ruler into BTW and stardust into D. Prison, maybe I was doing it wrong

The fact that you did get Synchroes out is good.  >_>; Your opponents just happened to have drawn the right stuff.

Yea, I didn't do well at nationals, played a deck that I wasn't too familiar with = bad idea.

My team mates did pretty good, and I won a lots of stuff from side events.

Winner was blackwing, but best player goes down to a dandylionplayer, going undefeated all the way until the finals.

I used a control variant using black garden, volcanic rocket and don zaloog. Really close to a build from Edison featured on their blog.

I would really cut Foolish and Allure for 2 Creature Swap. They are amazing, you have Dandy, Rat, PSZ. I would also add Sangan instead og Trunade, and he's a target too. Foolish is only for Dandylion, and you want it on the field to make Drill Warrior with the tuner. You don't want do Allure your targets, and there isn't room. You have DWD, Jar and Card Des.

I would also find room for some Book of Moons.

I agree on removing Foolish Burial, but Allure still has its uses to me.  I'd rather replace one of the surplus defensive cards for a 2nd Creature Swap.

I'd rather keep Allure of Darkness too but meh.

It's up to you.  It's not really bad here.   But neither is Creature Swap.
