This is trully a different varient of GBs.  This is the Horn of the Phantom Beast varient.  It utilizes Horn of the Phantom Beast because you can use it one 10 of 13 Gladiator Beast monsters.  If you equip to a Gladiator Beast Andal, you will have a 2700 atk beatstick.

How's this compare to "normal" GB's?  I've recently been thinking about playing GBs this way.

It works just as good as the Tigerless version except you get a little more draw power.

You only need that extra Beast or Beast-Warrior for those 3 Horn of the Phantom Beast.  If you don't like running Andal at all, you could try running a second Samnite and Hoplomus.

Or you could try this:

This **** is just sheer power. Just because of the Trap lineup. That must be annoying as **** to play against. Then waiting forever while you tag in and tag out all your ****. ****.

Horn is quite good because you aren't absolutely screwed when you see Shi En, too.

I might try this in some chill games.  DN's limited its servers to take no more than 4,000 users.

Yeah, that does suck.  I was only able to playtest the updated varient of this deck and I went 5-0.  Horm of the Phantom Beast is just too GODLY when you equip it to a Gladiator Beast Laquari or a Gladiator Beast Dimacari.

Some people don't like this card.  But I love it.  It's a 1600 atk (turned into a 2400 atk with Horn) that can attack twice one turn when tagged in.

I also added this card to the deck:

You run 16 targets for it, including another copy of itself.  And it adds a little more draw power to the deck.

Interesting build, seems rather solid. I may try something like this soon. I'm working on a icarus attack version for when LC2 gets us the last GB (lastina or W/e it's called). swallows nest+ icarus and such can net great +s under oppression or shi en when played right.

Gladiator Beast Lanista I believe.   I'm a lil' uneasy about the Icarus version.

Well it was working OKAY, but now with a backrow -hate format upon us I'm unsure of GB's as a deck, let alone my idea for  winged beast GB's
