We will be discussing two things on this thread.
 
1. What song do you want to hear as you die and fade away from this life that will make you die happy just from it playing during your last breath???

2. What is the playlist for your Funeral???

I am a bit morbid and have planned my funeral in advance, you just never know. And because I don't like Jesus music and I don't like country miss you songs, I don't want a loved one's ego picking my funeral music because it wouldn't define me. I want people listen to thought provoking music that I choose to go out on.

I have it written somewhere and as soon as I find it I will post my Funeral Playlist.

I'd like to hear "Protect Ya Neck" by the Wu-Tang Clan & "Ruff Ryders Anthem" by DMX.  The first is my favorite song from the Wu, and the second is my favorite less dark & violent song from DMX. xD  "The World's Greatest" by R. Kelly too. 

I'm interested in seein' what you guys put.   Expanding my library.

I would have to say "Hotel California", Eagles, or "So Far Away" by Avenged Sevenfold. This song has deep meaning to me, but I will discuss that on the 8th.

I still haven't located my list. I don't want to post a partial off the top of my head.

So I will post it when I find it but I would give it to my lil bro because he is the most important to Me. And I'd want him to handle my funeral.

Me and my bro have special brotherly relationship. I have taught him everything I know.

Well, the music that I want to hear as I die is kinda supposed to amp me up back into staying....how I see it. So I'd want Disturbed's 10000 fists blaring in my eardrums OR creed's 6 feet from the edge.

but if were gonna go peaceful, Godsmack-hallow( as currently I'd feel like I
havent done enough but that would make me feel oddly calm) or Evanessence-lithium (this does bring my rock-god soul peace because of a very dear friend/ crush I had in highschool sang this miasterfully. she'd have given Amy Lee a run for her money on this song.)

Funeral music would be Korn's "bagpipes" but a bit more somber in tone. And then some gaelic jigs and maybe disturbeds just another way to die as I was buried.


It's how I am delt with after death that matters to me, not what is the musical score for said time of burial/ funeral. They are gonna have to freeze me, pulverize me, creamate me, bury me, blow me up and then scatter my ashes across my home country, as if I die before my due time, not hell or heaven above will stop me from returning to protect the ones I love while fulfilling my dreams. [Yes that sounds childish, but I do mean it. If you knew me in real life you would know even mortal wounds do not halt me from caring of others before my self, so death will be no different....if there is actually a place beyond all this.]

That's cool. I also take on a Protector role in my life and always try to watch over all those connected to me. I even try to look out for random innocent strangers too.

I always felt I would die young so I am always expecting something to happen anyway. I would like to go out while protecting someone else.

I almost died once cause I was careless and slipped on a rug of all things, so I cherish life, but I can't stand by while people who cant/ won't protect themselves are hurt. I've taken punches/ kicks/ tackels causing internal damage/ cracked ribs and broken jaw ect.. to protect people. I once got my ass kicked cause I seen a guy trying to swing at some chick. she was so grateful that I stood up to that guy( and I did win the fight...despite serious injury of my own) that we dated for almost 2 years and had so much fun. sometimes gettign your ass kicked DOEs get you a reward worth the aftermath.

As for early death, longivity and good constituition run in my family...despite our many odd health quarks ( pretty much asured chickenpocks from flu shots...despite having them. Higher than normal but still "acceptable" blood pressure/ quantity.ect...) we are built to last ( several car crashes, compressed discs and such all happened to grandma and she still lived till the ripe old age of almost 85, and it took a REALLY agressive cancer to finally put her bed ridden.) so I'll take my chances with an early death.

That's a funny story. I meditate alot and I have never seen myself old. But when I do meditate and think of the future I always see darkness and get an ominous feeling. So I always suspected I might die young. But I am not careless with my life. I am still working towards all my short term and long term goals. Trying to live life with passion and purpose.

Arktic: I wish I could meditate. I've tried but I cannot get into the habbit of doing so regularly. For me, I dawn my headphones and just go for walks or go into the woods and find a place that "calls" to me. I'll stay there and just write about anything that comes to mind while listening to my playlists till I feel I need to go back/ my alarm goes off. It's not the same but it gives me piece of mind.
 
Between that and getting to put all my YGO creativity into deckbuilding other's wacky ideas. I usually end up with a clear head and a focused mind.
