A little branch from my Journal...

My friend Anthony has always been a Tele-DAD player.  He stuck to generic DARK Synchro as formats went by, and I've always helped him piece his Deck together.  Dueling each other is the best for both of us.  Best Duels ever!

Recently, he became interested in the game again.  He played Salvo-DAD, but... that Deck is too damn slow now.  We tried GK Spies for Arcanite access again, but that didn't work either.  So, we unanimously decided to revisit Tele-DAD.

And I gotta say, we had some epic Duels with this Deck.

Mystic Tomato brings out any Destiny Hero or Tuner to the field to be quickly used after.  This also brings me to an important point: Fear Monger > Diamond Dude

Everyone wants to use Diamond Dude for "speed," but really, he's not that useful at all.  He's really weak so no one enjoys leaving him out to be killed.  Fear Monger, on the other hand, pays you back.  He allows you to use Destiny Hero - Malicious more than once!  This comes in handy a lot.  When you're left with few resources, Fear Monger makes that Krebons in your hand instantly useful.

Stratos & RotA hand you the pieces to your combos: Destiny Draw and Synchro Summons.  They pull everything together.  Destiny Draw is fantastic to draw!  It really boosts your speed and increases your options.  Foolish Burial is also an instant Malicious/PSZ to Synchro Summon.

3 Psychics make 2 E-Teles consistent.  The Lv:3 Tuners go very well with Instant Fusion to make Lv:8's (like in my old SD/AM Deck).  It also gives you the option for Lv: 6's or 7's when you need it.  And here's a good part: E-Tele & Instant Fusion don't just create Synchro Summons... they are fodder for Caius.  Caius is badass.  He wrecks any field.  He's just too good!  All of these Specials Summons give you sooo many options at hand.  It's really amazing and fun too!

Umm, Trainer don't get mad at me for saying this but you are missing a certain card in this deck.

Where is Dark Armed Dragon in your deck?  You can't run Tele-DAD without DAD.

I don't know... I think I made the same mistake one, two years ago when I was helping him make DARK Synchro Decks. xD

I've looked this over for a few hours now and all I can really see is a need for more discard/SS outlets for mali. I'd like to see something like super poly in her(or sided) with some hero fusions(ones that say Hero, like Zero, not E hero, like Gaia).

Perhaps also decking Tragodia could help (both in dscard, and hand trap coverage, and it's a DARK!)

also thoughts on adding a light+ BLS suite?

Hm yeah, that is on my mind as well.  After playing a Match today I do think an Armageddon Knight would help.  The problem is space... 42 is ugly.   I have no choice but to sacrifice Call of the Haunted for now.

I don't think Super Polymerization is consistent enough. xD  That's the best card out of 'em too.

The LIGHTs can't be squeezed in here.  Even if we had some copies of Raiou & BLS, they're not worth taking out Mole and more importantly Caius.  Even then, removing Caius kinda offsets the balance of usage of fodder this Deck has.  It's a nice idea.  We all want BLS. xD  But forcing him in is not the best idea.  Kinda like why you're not seeing it in Dark World (or shouldnt' be at least).

Arm. Knight &Fear Monger are so useful. o:
I actually lost a lot to this Deck yesterday cuz another friend cut for us.  Gave him the sh*t 3 Duels in a row and gave me sh*t 3 Duels in a row (mostly discard outlets with only a couple Broww and a few non-DW monsters).  I think we went even in the end though.

Well, looks like I won't be making this Deck for myself.  If I don't buy Catastor (~$20), I'll still have to spend at least $60 on everything else that I'm missing ($90 if I wanted to get the rarities I want).

Ah well.   I guess this'll remain my friend's signature Deck.  We each have our own thing.
