I finally got all the karakuri cards I need and all the other cards I needed to try this. I never got to run KMP when it was hawt, so I was saddened to hear people tell me "karakuris are too slow/ can't play meta". Then I realized. Karakuries have 3 things a lot of decks ask for:

They are earth attribute. This means naturia synchros and potentially gottoms.
They are machines. this means cards like limiter removal and MAU are applicable as are their signature synchro line up.
AND....
THEY ARE NINJAS!

(side is just ideas but I can list if need be, extra needs work but is just 3x of each karakuri synchro, naturias @1 each then Xyz's like pearl, leviar, zenmaines, GearGearanto X, Mastroke  and mizurthym the dijins)

Did you know Karakuris have not 1, not 2, but 3 ninja cards in thier monster line! Sazank (their snowman eater) is a ninja. Kuick (their shura) is a ninja AND their level 5 from EXCV, Nanashick Is ALSO a ninja.

I see people keep dropping hanzo and WDN into so many decks and call it consistent. They add upstart ninjas and tons of traps to make life easy and the deck ends up 1 big gimmick.  NOT in here. With mained ninjas besides hanzo, you take stress off him to be present when you draw super trans. You also make use of the super trans hella often. The other maindecked continuous traps all play well with karakuris and their summons besides the ninja aspect, so they are no brainers, as are the planters.

I can't and won't say this is the new deck to beat, but honestly, they kicked arse before, and that ninja lock with WDN  and Zone is boss. add to that the synchro line and the nat synchros, and IMO karakuries are at least regional viable.

Any help is appreciated. Side is an ideas pile ATM and extra needs work. I may get the basic theory of the deck but I am still new to these guys so my deck is bound to have bugs. Thoughts?

And also I cannot read some of the cards on that screen shot. So... But cool idea.

people tech sazank(the karuri version of snowman eater, just 1200/1200 instead of 0/1900) so if that ninja works, why won't the other 2? they just need "ninja" in their names to count for ninja cards.

cydra was sided. As is CTFD and such. Did a bit of testing and added another sazank, that 1 copy proved so bawss that a second had to be added( TGU hitting sazank, losing it's summon and then becoming fodder to my super trans for a fre WDN is damn funny, and a VERY common play, oddly enough). I <3 sazank. He eats SLR's and Stardust dragons and zenmaines easily, and then becomes such a good NAST target. Almost want to test other ninja traps(rust armor looks like hawt secks for a control deck, and the mist one seems like ti could be trolly. I could also run other dragons/ ect that benefit my machines).

It's actually only 1 more karakuri than before, and I actually just dropped some non karakuris(the cydras). IT seems to be running better I've had people say swap veilers for F chains thanks to planter and it seems like a sound idea, it also lets me cut 3 to add 2 thuas dropping the deck count back to 41. Thoughts on that?

what is everyone's thoughts on cash cashe? I personally like the search, but the swap people dislike. People are saying trade it for duality, but I SS toomuch for duality to be nice, I was thinking of those one day's of peace tech 2 and work around the turn where I can't deal damage to set up better.

Lastly, I need to add the Lv4 karakuri tuner cause I want the OTK in the deck, any suggestions as to how to add that? I am thinking dropping veiler 3 tot he side anyway, so I could trade it out for that. Thoughts?

I think Cash Cache works fine.  Change the position manually or Special Summon in defense, then activate Cache.

Droppin' a Veiler's fine.

So it would be -3 veiler, + 2 fiendish chain +1 karakuri watchdog (the LV 4 tuner)

veilers would be sided tho.

I'd definitely drop at least 1 Call.  I can see it being useful, but like always it is slow.  A little bit clunky, you could say, to have 2 copies of.  Generally unwanted early game.
