I meant to post this a while ago but I was pretty stoked to hear that a sequel would be announced so far and with a release date as well. May 1, 2015. With the same director returning.

What do you think of this? By then this thread will be almost three years old. D:

EDIT: Official title for the movie will be Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Sounds awesome.  The Avengers is my favorite movie.  But damn, nearly 3 years!   That's so far ahead in the future... not that I'm complaining since they must need a lot of time for this project.  Just seems so far out... 2015.

Yeah I know. I feel the same way. It's hard to look that far ahead for a film.

I've been waiting for a decent Jurassic Park flick since the book came out.  -_-  I'm still waiting.  So for me 3 years isn't too bad.

Hmm... Ultron? I thought it would be Thanos. Because they are making a Guardians of the Galaxy movie.


Are you sure this is real? Ultron kills all the heroes in another time line.

Maybe they beat Thanos in The GotG movie and in response to those events Tony Stark and Hank Pym create Ultron which goes crazy and tries to kill everything.

But then again. It could be a time crisis and Conqueror Khang could come from the future to the past to warn about Ultron. And the present avengers travel to the future to fight that Ultron.

Yeah you can look it up. I'm not too confident in this new route but nothing we can do. Marvel has big plans during Phase 2, I guess. Only one movie out so far.
