I heard a whisper
It not only said my name
Go back right now or forever regret
Your life never being the same

But I still kept walking
Then I saw her standing there
She confessed to all the wicked lies
And then just left me here

When your heart had split in two!
I was meant to take control!
No matter what life you pursue!
I will never let you go!

Forget that fool you once were!
We are never turning back!
Courage, pride, and precious power!
Were always what you lack!

Do as I wish!
Say what I want!
Go where I say!
You will do it anyway!

There’s nowhere left to hide!
My spirit has set inside!

This rotting mind!
Your bleeding heart!
There I was born!
Without me you fall apart!

I claimed your soul as mine!
We’re one for all of time!

New to betrayal
Angry beyond control
I’d slit her throat and watch her bleed
Until her body’s cold

So, this is heartbreak
The worst feeling I’ve been in
Just tell me what it’s going to take
For me to love again

Burn your pitiful broken heart!
Give your empty soul to me!
Revenge on those who had their part!
The pleasure sets you free!

Now you have a choice to make!
To be with me or just a slave!
Whichever fated path you take!
Will lead to you to the grave!

Do as I wish!
Say what I want!
Go where I say!
You will do it anyway!

There’s nowhere left to hide!

This rotting mind!

I feel temptation
Crawling right beneath my skin
Don’t recognize my own reflection
Or where we both have been

The voices are louder
My mind’s become a part of him
He does every torturous thing he can
For me to let him in

Throw away all the morals!
You won’t need them anymore!
Mindful games of deception!
Is what we’ll use them for!

Your friends and family in the end!
Let you rot down here in this hell!
But there’s no need to fear my friend!
They will join us soon as well!

Well I guess that all depends
Fight for what is want or what is need

I like this very much overall.

However I did not like the 1st 3rd portion very much because it didn't become apparent to me until the middle what was going on or what this was about.

But once I got to the middle, at the section that starts "I Feel Temptation". I was like wow this is good. I kept reading and now knowing what it is all about I was like wow this is Really Good!

I like the whole struggle with the dark self thing. My mind went to a couple different things while reading it. I thought of Ichigo's Hollow self fighting Zangetsu inside of Ichigo's mind. I thought of Schitzo stuff like Dexter and his Dark Passenger and Smeagle from the Hobbit arguing with himself. LOL!

My name ArkticDark is actually an outward expression of my soul-self and is about the inner struggle of light vs dark of your soul-self to control the vessel body or the Ark. A frozen Ark for a cold heart. Arctic also standing for the light. Play on words.

I always like the Native American story of The Two Wolves. A son asks his father, "Father? How do we know if we will become a good person or a bad person?" The father told his son, "There are two wolves living inside of us all. One a light wolf and the other a dark wolf. These wolves are constantly in battle over your soul and control of your actions." The son then asks, "But father, how do we know which wolf will win?" The father said, "Whichever one you feed."

But man, I liked this a lot. Good job Fevs.
