Trag has its moments when you have 3 or more cards in hand, possibly ready for a combo. It's a great monster.
But Gorz is king. The ultimate fallback. Imagine the game if he wasn't Limited. Ah. Now you see how good he would be.

I don't think it's a matter of this Vs that. I see it more as "right tool for the right job".
take gorz, in decks where you need the fallback, keep a minimalist hand/ commitment and can make use of the token(something people seem to value less and less lately), gorz seems to work best.
Trago on the other hand likes a deck that has options, and keeps hand well, or can attain hand if need be. sure his attack is great, but again, people forget how much this monster can do. Trag is a hand trap of great effects. Level copying, stealing opponents monsters.
Each has it's place, and then each goes to the "Vegas/ Amsterdam" ( good/bad variations of chaos dragons) YGO and becomes a prostituted card.

Gorz is better though. If you are losing, chances are that cards in hand are small.

Well yeah, Trag definitely has potential based on what cards you have ready. But Gorz is just more reliable. He himself makes you capable of turning a game around.
Sad thing, my friend using TG may have possibly began a comeback against my other friend using Heroes, but the he just drops a Gorz. Next turn Summons an Alius and takes the game.

Gorz is great for conservative players and even just playing against really aggressive players.

And conservative play before the push wins.
