I'm pretty sure from this point on I'll be taking written notes and keeping a print document as a back-up.  S**t like this is embarrassing.

Hmm... maybe thinking of getting a kindle or maybe putting books on my pad.

I thought only girls use pads.

My post still applies.

As does my laziness.

I can't say I can give a numerical representation of when is preset, or how long it is. But I think that has more to do that you can't give a numerical representation of a perspective that isn't shared between all sentient creatures (we don't have a hive mind). What I mean is, we all now what the present is for ourselves, regardless of weither we can quantify it in order to explain it to someone else. Present is perspective. The Past can be quatified, but only because we as humans have dictated how fast 'time' moves. Seconds, hours, and years are all human creations that are used to wrap our heads around understanding the past.
As for the future, we don't know that it exists. This hypothetical timeline your looking at, it has only a past. The end point is simply the present (until it almost immediately becomes the past). That point you keep moving along the line is just a pointer pointing to different points in the past. Theres nothing beyond the present because it hasn't happened. The only way you can say there is a future is if you believe in predetermination and God. Even if you said in ten seconds I'm going to punch you and therefore the future exists, you merely planned your present thoughts to dictate your actions should your present continue. The future is just a term we use to describe a time that does not exist, but hopefully will, hope. The future is hope. I think that may be poetry in some way but I'm not a poet so hell if I know.

I wrote a paper about my response to this lol. I am thinking of posting it.

Well Dracian. It may also be that the past does not exist either. The past could only Be a memory that we are aware of in our mind.

The past lives in our memories. The future is just a thought.

So it may be that only the present moment ever exists.

This is my 2nd idea. My 1st idea I wrote a paper about involves expanding universe and consciousness and God and whay not. I'll post my summary later.
