I don't think I've ever seen one in a dark world decklist. Sure darkworld gateway is not an essential part of a darkworld deck, it helps a lot but not as needed as something like umi, or sanctuary in the sky, however unlike those having one on the field and drawing into a terraforming or another field spell is never a dead draw. Using multiple lets you discard/draw multiple times in 1 turn, really helping speed up the deck, especially when extending for game.

Snoww's search & the fluidity of the Deck make Terraforming's unnecessary.  The chances are you'll already have at least 1 Gate by the time you draw your Terraforming, which you could have made a defensive Trap card in its place.

late game a 2nd gate usually helps me get the extra push for game, either from the discard or the extra card from the draw. most dark world decks now a days seem to be built for speed, terraforming helps thin the deck, and the extra gate you get from it helps increase the draw engine. its quite easy to draw terra, replace it with gate and use gate for an extra draw getting a +1 out of it, even if you already have a gate to let you draw, playing another gate which destorys the 1st, and lets you activate again is just giving you even more draw power assuming you have the fiends in the grave to support it.

Yeah of course. It depends on the situation but if I'm stuck then I'll play another Gates over my current one.
