Versago can still be used as a fusion substitute after you SS him with guide because its a condition not an effect. Pull out Last Warrior and beat down with him or you can take the safe route and deck them out by using Localized Tornado before you deckout and wait 2-3 turns till your opponent does. Use forbidden chalice to negate his effect for a turn if you want to get another summon and beat down but I just deck them out.
