I did think about GC but that cars is really powerful. Cause dumping your needed cards in in the grave, the grave is like a second hand. But it would be GOD for us DW users to have it back.

Tribe is really easy to get rid of. It's hardly better than Lightning Vortex and no one uses that. At best, you'll use it once. Just like Lightning Vortex.

It's pretty easy to play around. Keep in mind that there's no priority like there was back in the day. Most of the time using TIV, it won't survive the turn or you break even with its effect.

Like I said, it may not be as relevant to the top of the meta as it once was, but it can still do ruin other Decks so we might as well do without it.  Say you're playing Samurai or Geargias - you should know that's like, Fever.  You wouldn't want to see TIV.  Right, Samurais have Magatama or you could just be playing a Trap-heavy Deck but it does not make TIV's effect any less broken.  TIV's effect doesn't suffer from a design flaw & it's too easy to use.  Remember, saying "A deters B" does not justify B to be balanced.  Better chance to counter =/= balance.  Take for example BLS.  You might have a Fiendish Chain, but by himself he has the potential to kill all of your monsters.  BLS may last longer on the field because of his stats, but TIV can clear your opponent's whole field in one turn, doing its job.  We're better off without something that just kills some Decks.

Yes you are right about counters but I'm not talking about specific cards. A player could use TIV and clear my field, regardless of my running a deck with mostly the same Type. But, my point is that it is no more lethal than Lightning Vortex. 1600 ATK? So? That goes back to it being countered or having its attack prevented.

The cost is steep. Dropping a card from hand hurts even if you have five cards. I'd rather have a hand with outs and a cleared Field than a TIV and a depleted hand. Chances are that I will draw and/or having the outs to simply run over TIV the following turn. It's the same reason Lightning Vortex was limited at one time but is now unlimited. TIV should start out at one and make its way up. Seriously, having 3 TIV in your deck is bad.

You're right.  There are better options for those Type-centered Decks I mentioned.  I was only thinking about using it as an "all-kill" and maintaining it (Tele-DAD mindset - wait & explode).  I forget almost all Decks today are splashing different Xyz/Synchroes anyway.  I think it'd be more like a 1-of tech... in the Side for a few Decks.

Yeah I just remember from when I quit.  Even when I tested it in my Banned.dek it just wasn't that good.

At one time is was good but with how fast this game has become it's not that great anymore. I really would love to see a format where many many different decks could top. Not just the money making decks. Where you didn't play against only two or three decks. That skill and lil luck and your fav type or attribute or theam would do the trick. Learning how to read people and make the big plays. Not just buying the top cards but knowing how to play game. Where decks arent "already" built when you buy packs. Where you have to put time and thought in why you run what cards in your deck. That would be the day:)

I think YGO is fun as hell though. YGO and Pokemon are the only card games I'll love.
