well current cannon, the world had went to ****. The Pheonix Force came back and took over 5 mutants and they ruled the world and reshaped it, even the governments.
So **** got shucken up and dumped upside down.
things in marvel comics never stay the same and if you keep with the comics you will see how their world drastically changes like every 5 years.
just the media is always hung up on showing then how they used to be. Like thank Cap has died already Steve Rogers is gone and there has already been 2 different other Captain Americas ti take his place. Also Loki dies and is resurrected as a woman. And Jean Grey has been dead for ever.
Colossus has died and been resurrected like twice.
The media never portrays current cannon because I think they think it is too much for the regular everyday consumer to handle.

Cannon means actual events that actually take place in the main story line and excludes what if story arcs and excludes most alternate universe story arcs. Until those alternate realities interact with the main reality then it becomes a crossover arc. And the man reality is theoretically our reality if that fictional stuff existed. |
