I really like the smoke abilities that Delsin Rowe has in Infamous Second Son. The ability to move through vents and fly anywhere through smoke, heat, or fire.

And people have had there fingers blown off. Have you never seen Centerpoint's electric safety demo? They touch a live power line with multiple items to see what happens and when they touch a hotdog frank to it that frank is obliterated section by section. So I have actually seen it and you guys don't know what you are talking about

I have given the whole finger blown off thing a lot of thought over the years and I'm pretty sure it is caused by the rapid evaporation of blood and other bodily fluids within the digit rather than direct exposure to high voltage.

High electrical current can cause the blood to boil and evaporate, thus it has a higher volume.  The skin prevents the expansion and thus it pops like a water balloon under the added pressure and the result being a blown off digit.

What Dragon means is the force created from the evaporation may be strong enough to blow off small ends like fingers but it wouldn't exactly "tear flesh."

More like a secondary effect.  An electrical arc simply cannot directly cut flesh in the same fashion it cannot cause actual burns (lets avoid electrical burns for now).  However it can cause lacerations of the flesh by excessive blood pressure (previously discussed), muscle spasms and blunt force trauma.

Maybe after a couple seconds of contact would the damage happen since he's initially metabolizing the energy.  Slight difference.

I already did on page 1, reply #8.  Gravity control and manipulation.  Thus space/time manipulation.

People who manipulate gravity can adjust how it affects other objects or other people or themselves.

So how does your power let you manipulate matter and time? It would have to be some kind of telekinesis as well because you would have to focus all your intention ti the subatomic level and change things there with your will.

Second of all, what? I don't think I have the college degree to understand how you came to that conclusion. Gravity is that Newton stuff with the apple right?

Dark Matter bends light and has an effect on Gravity so are you thinking of that?

And right now they think gravity comes from a parallel universe that they cannot prove exists. They don't even know what gravity really is, they only know about the effects it has on objects.

And any text book you read will probably be outdated compared to modern Physicists current theories. So wrong sir you are wrong!

In order to bend time/space your power would have to be telekinetic molecular manipulation of reality. Not Gravity Control...

Would you really want to be that powerful anyways? Cliche Spiderman quote 'With great power, comes great responsibility.' What would you do with that kind of power, change the past? You may very well stop all the people you ever knew or loved from existing, you also may never be able to fix the changes you did in the past so that they would be born. Thus you would never see them again. Also, time paradox, changing the past may cause you to not exist, causing the universe to implode on itself (could happen, not saying it would).
Altering space, so if you changed Earths gravity by accident you may just wipe out most life on the planet by extreme temperature change. Altering an individuals gravitational influence may cause them to rip apart right in front of you. Your not a robot so you wouldn't be born with the knowledge to control this power so there will be bad side effects as you learn, people dying. What if you accidently killed your parents or siblings when your powers first emerged. What if you were labeled a danger to society. Human instinct dictates you would fight to survive, you would become the most powerful villain of all time?
I like to imagine what having super powers would be like, but I always try to avoid ultra powers like this. There are too many bad scenarios that would likely happen. This is part of the reason I hate the Superman story. Basically from birth before he even has reasoning the sun is already boosting his power. As a 3 year old, not having the common sense to control his anger nor the ability to speak clearly or understand people clearly, how are his adoptive parents still alive? 3 Year old Clark Kent gets mad at dad, dad dies, end of discussion. Maybe not the parents? Ok then what about playful fighting between kids, those kids are dead now. Same thing happened to me when I was young. My dads friend had 4 Rottweiler dogs that he 'played' with very aggressively. When I (8 at the time) went outside, they 'played' with me the only way they knew how. I had a bunch of cuts and bruises and it scarred me for most of my life (I still don't like dogs). And those are dogs, not super powerful aliens.

Holy crap I went into a tangent! I'll stop here by saying, overly powerful abilities are just too much trouble!

Spacial Replacement Teleportation (SRT for short now)
So it's basically a teleportation power, but without most of the risk, and can be quite deadly (not really to the user though). When you teleport with this power, you replace your body (with training a small area around you) with those exact dimensions of another area. To compare, if Nightcrawler teleports into a wall, he loses whatever part of his body is in the wall (this has something to do with the density of the dimension he travels through while teleporting not being strong enough to move solid objects in our world, but is strong enough to move air and liquid). When SRT is used, the wall will be moved to where you were. If you teleport to be partially inside someone, you will teleport parts of their body, more than likely killing them in the process. It can used in quick succession just as nightcrawler can and can be used for a variety of offensive abilities (even destroying buildings, though this can be dangerous if the falling debris could kill you between teleports). I think I would be ok having this power because I don't think I have what it takes to kill someone, especially in such a gruesome way (you would be completely covered in someones blood and guts if you killed them with SRT). It would be nice and powerful, without being unbeatable, immortal, or god-like.
