Official Play Through Event II (Gen VI)

Defeated the 8th Gym and am on Victory Road. I just finished traveling the map collecting all the items that required waterfall to get.

I swapped my TalonFlame out for a Noivern. Dragon/flying type that specializes in Special attack. Noivern has better all around stats than Talon Flame.

All my pokemon are level 55. And I am not running any legendary pokemon.

So far I am finding Noivern more useful than Talonflame so I am happy with the trade of.

My team weaknesses are that I get wrecked by Strong Fairy types.  As I have 2 dragons and 2 dark types,  one of which is also fighting type. So 2/3 of my team is weak to Fairy. And 2/3 of my team is weak to Fighting type as I have 2 Dark types a Normal type and a Rock type. But they fair very well in all other circumstances. Having fun with it, plus they all look cool. I dislike how Pyroar had to be half Normal type but he looks awesome lol.

I am at the Pokemon Center at the Pokemon League. I am about to challenge them. All six of my pokemon are lv 61.

I figured as the elite 4 have all lv 60ish pokemon that I would need to put the Exp share back on during Victory Road. And I was right. I am coming in just a few levels below the elite 4 pokemon, that is the way I like it. Nice and challenging.


Greninja: Hydro Pump, Surf, Icebeam, Extrasensory.

Pyroar: Overheat, Flamethrower, Hyper Voice, Dark Pulse.

GoGoat: Leaf Blade, Energy Ball, Rock Slide, Earthquake.

PanGoro: Hammer Arm, Sky Uppercut, Crunch, Stone Edge.

Tyrantrum: Dragon Claw, Head Smash, Crunch, Earthquake.

Noivern: Air Slash, Fly, Flamethrower, Draco Meteor.


This should be pretty fun.

Bank hasn't launched yet.  It get's launched on the 27^th.  Japan is getting it on the 25^th, but I take it they are holding off on the rest of the world due to Christmas.  If that is the case, it's very considerate of them.

why is it considerate?

If it costs money then those with the money will have access to it on time. It isn't considerate at all its biased.

and I highly doubt they are thinking that way, they are Japanese after all(biased lol.)

If they charge for it, then releasing it on Christmas would be smart for them.

Japan just always hold out sharing with America on everything almost always.

oh I forgot to report beating the pokemon league. I started with all pokemon lv 61 and with exp share on and zero casualties I leveled all 6 to 64 by the time I won.

It was pretty easy, I killed every pokemon in one hit except Gyrados and Gardevior.

The only times I had to turn off and try again were against the water elite and the champ. Only because I was going for zero casualties.

turns out the only one on my team that could take on Gardevior was my GoGoat but he has sap sipper so when Gardevior came out he stole sap sipper making it impossible to win with zero casualties.  So I started the bout against Gardevior with Pyroar and had to switch in to GoGoat without dying.

I have spending the rest of my game time hatching eggs. Seems to take longer than I remember. And even more difficult to hatch females.
