I stumbled across this article in which the author puts forth the theory that all the Pixar movies are not only set in the same universe, but are interconnected.  I read through it and I can understand some of the connections made, but a lot of it seems far fetched or can be explained easily with the assumption that they put in Easter eggs or simply reused material to save time.  But in the end I think some one has too much time on their hands and an unhealthy obsession to kids movies (says the guy with a borderline unhealthy obsession to Yu-gi-oh and Pokemon).
