You did mess up on one thing - you shouldn't run more AMA than there are SD/AM.
The Machine Duplication method to bring out Stardust is a hard here.  It requires 3 cards, and you don't have draw power here.

I don't like Torrential Tribute being used in SD/AM Decks since you should be controlling the Duel with SD/AM.

Instant Fusion is just a great card for Decks focusing on Synchro Summoning.  Summon Darkfire Dragon or Karbonala Warrior alongside Flamvell Magician for an 8* Synchro.  Summon Reaper on the Nightmare (ATK/800 - can't be BTH'd!) with Gale or Commander for 8* Synchroes too.  2 card combo that's easy and effective.  Cyber Dragon is essentially a free Summon to work with the 3* Tuners.  Plus, it's all cheap.

The rest is the basic defense & Staples.  MBaaS can be useful in protecting your Tuners before SD is out, or for protecting SDD or SD/AM if your opponent tries to negate its effect.

The easy, abundant ways to access Synchro Summoning will help compensate for the lack of draw power.

Most of the Flamvell cards are still in the Duel Terminals. It's meh.

It has allways been a little harder summoning level 8 synchroes compared to other synchroes, and there was never really a way to get a synchro for 1 card. Flamvell Firedog broke that. Flamevell Firedog is crazy 1900 beater better than shura, and it brings out level 8 synchroes easily.
