This thread's for the development of my Arcana Force - World Lock deck.

Managed to decide on certain cards, numbers etc, so I now have a prototype deck list.

I'm not familiar with all the cards here, but...

I am familiar with using Royal Decree.

While it may be nice to stop enemy threats & defenses, Royal Decree may not be the best card choice.  It stops you yourself from using a lot of defenses.  Decree's really only effective against Trap-heavy Decks, so unless you're playing GB's, Counter Fairies, Anti-Meta, etc. it's not too great to use Decree.  They are better Sided.

I'd probably also take out the Foolish Burial (you have 2 Armageddon Knights) for a Torrential Tribute.  And maybe the Vortex for a Solemn...

Well, to get this effect to work every turn, he has to somehow stop the Bottomless Trap Holes and stuff.

MBaaS & Solemn take care of that stuff.  Decree shouldn't be Mained now, unless you can create a S/T lock.  But that's different.

Decree creates a Trap Lock, hence the few Traps. As such, it's mained for the purpose of a complete lock, one that isn't overcome.

In testing this Arcana Lock deck has been great.

The reason for the Lightning Vortex is simple, a swarm of monsters that are of a higher Attack (and trust me, this is so likely, for many reasons) are a problem with this deck, as you won't be able to get past.

There's very little point in having the lock without Decrees, because without the protection continuously from Traps, I'm destined to run into Waboku, Threatening Roar, the rare Sakuretsu Armor or the so popular and likely Mirror Force. As also explained, it negates cards such as Bottomless from ruining this, or even a Solemn negating the summon or activation of a few of my cards.
Foolish Burial gets Darks into the grave, specifically the Scout Planes, and the logic of removing due to running Armageddon Knight almost defies the logic of searchers in other decks, near other searchers. I've found Foolish Burial to be a great assistance.

Torrential Tribute, I -did- try it, and it was removed for a reason, before the Decree lockdown was added in. I'm not a fan of drawing a card I won't activate without destroying my key component(s) to this deck. And believe me, it's so possible to get that card as a dead draw which won't be used. I'm considering removing something, however, for a My Body As A Shield or two. It's protection against destruction, and an untimely Lightning Vortex against me could crush the lock before it's been closed around the opponent.

For that, I'll do more testing, and that's what is key. Testing.
