Heck yeah, it's super easy to pick up compared to tapping each letter.
It's nice to know that the Swype feature makes for the fastest texting speed.

Yo it's good! Try it out yourself. It's much easier and faster.
Tip: In the Accuracy VS Speed setting, gear Swype more towards speed. That way you'll avoid having to choose the word you meant to trace. If it's ever wrong, just press double-tap the word or press the encircled "i" and you'll get a choice of alternatives. Your phone will remember your choices.
